Hayward Key/Cover & Handle Assembly SPX0714BA is the upper handle assembly for the Hayward SP0714T Valve. It helps to protect the valve from dirt, debris, and water damage. It also makes it easier to operate the valve. Normally when you start to see leaking from your backwash port or your handle becomes hard to press down then it is a good time to replace your handle assembly.

It is made of durable plastic and it has a black finish. It is easy to install and comes with all the necessary hardware. It includes handle, spring, valve cover, washer, spider gasket, rotor, and handle pin. It does NOT include cover o-ring, it must be purchased separately.
